Here are some links to various slideshows of our vacations and travels to far away exotic places! If you haven't
gotten out of the country to see a bit of the rest of the world you have no idea what you are missing! So GO Git out and SEE!
It is amazing what experiences you will have!
Here are some pictures from our trip to Thailand. This is a must see country! Swarms of scooters, shops all selling
"same same but different" items right next to each other, and eating is one noodle short of
nirvana!
Some pictures of the Mayan ruins we visited in Tikal, Copan and Antigua. We had a great time traveling in Guatemala, Honduras and Belize.
MoreAfter too much rain here in Washington and Oregon, we decided a trip to Hawaii was a must! We joined up with Steph's family for 10 days of sunshine and swimming. Much needed!
MoreIn the summer of 2008, we visited my Uncle and cousins in Richland, Oregon. While there we went to their ranch near Sparta and gathered some rocks near an old gold mining town named Cornicopia. Marc's mom came along on this trip also.
MoreConsidered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world! If you have never been there, put it in your bucket list of places you must go!
MoreFossil Oregon, the John Day river, and the Painted Hills are simply spectacular and one of Oregon's better kept secrets.
MoreMarc lived in Arizona for several years while working at a big telescope observatory. So he took Steph down to Phoniex to visit his step brother Dien, wife Denise, and to Tucson to show her his old stomping grounds.
MoreMarc worked at the Multiple Mirror Telescope Observatory with his friend John Montgomery. We arraigned a return trip back down memory lane. The telescope now has a single large mirror and the old superstructure for the 6 72 inch mirrors now sits in the desert at the base of the mountain. A lot has changed and a lot remains the same!
MoreHere are some pictures of our trip in the Spring of 2015 to Bali. Temples temples temples everywhere! Be careful around the monkeys!
MoreSteph's friend Mirth has a beach house in Cannon Beach, Ore which we can use if it is available. So we make it a habit to spend some time beach-combing and letting our dogs play there.
